Idea: Create a coating that you can easily apply to your faded out gel-coat to restore its shine for a long time.

Everyone around boats has seen faded out gel-coat.  And most people know that the only cure for that is to spend hours and hours buffing out the faded gel-coat.  And even at that corners nooks and crannies where the buffer can not easily get into are real headaches.

Have you ever noticed how gel coat will fade out in just a few seasons but auto finishes keep their shine for many years.  Look around and you will see cars and trucks with shinny finishes that are over 15 years old.  The automotive business spent millions to develop coating that have incredible UV protection and keep their gloss for many years.  These coatings are not widely used in the marine business primarily because of the need for an auto style paint booth. 

Marine Slick took this technology proven in the automotive coatings industry and adapted it specifically to be applied to boats. You can apply this stuff to gel-coat or painted surfaces.  It comes in wipe on applications or spray on applications. Any you will be surprised at the results.

Gel-slick will make the boat surface appear to be wet.  If your gel coat looks good wet, then this product will work on your boat or other surface.  And it is built to last.   Our UV tests show it will keep its shine for 10 years or more.  What is even more incredible if the area gets scuffed or scratched just apply another coat.

Even if you have a brand new boat you can apply a coat or two of Gel-Slick to protect your investment and keep it looking new.

You do not have to polish your gel-coat before applying Gel-Slick, but it will not hurt if you want to polish it first and then apply. 

Surface preparation is minimal.  The surface needs to be clean and free of  contaminates.  That is it.  Wipe it on and forget it.
